Uhh, ... so sad. Why must you broken at the critical time? As I twit it in my twitter, this WD has all my trust to put on all my precious data and document and then suddenly on 11/17/2010, this piece has broken due to unknown reason.
The simptom is the drive is locked and cannot be displayed? Why is it locked when I not set it to anything? Then I researched out to this problem. it is not just me, many of this piece owner face the same problem as I look this things in Google.
Last solution I made is to sent this piece to a warranty. Now there is no more place for me to keep my data, as the data already none in this piece. So I get the new 2TB of Seagate Expansion. Why? My data is too large and the current capacity of 3TB is not enough. (Actually now is 2TB, because I already lost 1TB). I hope Seagate has no problem such WD. I think not yet as I already use Seagate product for more than 2 years and I am satisfied.
