Many of laptop user usually asks " Do we need to take out the battery if it is fully charged?"
The answer to above question is depend on the situation. Leaving the battery fully charged and the laptop plugged in usually is not harmful. There is another facts that if leaving the battery fully charged and still charging the battery will damage the battery. This facts is not fully true.
Why? Heat is the battery enemy. The battery will damage if it is leaving fully charged and plugged in and the laptop is having high temperature. When the HDD and the CPU temperature is over 50ºC, the laptop is facing high temperature and in this time you should remove the battery from laptop.
Else if your HDD and CPU temperature is lower than 40ºC, it is up to you if you want the battery to stay in the laptop or remove it. Either is okay.
The other method of keeping the battery for a long useable time, is never ever let your battery empty and then after that you charge it again. This is because the battery will degrade its power little by little each time you let the battery empty. The battery should be charged at the best when it reached 30% of capacity left. After that make sure it is fully charged and checked whether you need to remove it from the laptop or not by checking the CPU and HDD temperature.
